- Notes: “Woods in the City” At this one-day musical extravaganza you will be able to participate in two workshops, eat a delicious catered dinner, enjoy a spectacular concert featuring Magpie and Haines & Leighton, and join in a late night song circle/ jam session. The cost for the event is $150, which includes all workshops, dinner, concert, and song circle/ jam. The registration form is available here. Full payment required with registration. No refund on cancellations after July 31st. Please note that participation is limited to previous Woods attendees and their kin. Staff and Programming for The Woods In The City We are excited to welcome back Magpie (Terry Leonino and Greg Artzner) and Haines & Leighton as our core staff for the event. Both of these dynamic duos have been favourites at The Woods before, so we know that we are in for a treat. And, we are also thrilled to announce that James Keelaghan will be dropping by for part of the afternoon to lead a songwriting workshop. In addition, your faithful Woods organizers Eve Goldberg and Grit Laskin will be offering workshops to round out the program for the day.
