September 30th – Friday Folk Night (Sanderson Hall, St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton, Ont.) Tonight: “A Celebration of the Dance”, with Tom Leighton, Anne Lederman and Jamie Snider. We are very excited to kick off our 12th season with our very first dance! In the first half, Tom, Anne and Jamie will give us some musical background on the history and styling of social dancing, then in the second set YOU WILL HAVE THE CHANCE to try some easy contra dance steps yourself. Opening Act: Moira and Elena, doing a special a cappella set.
